  Product Description
The Outwell Sky 5 Compact is a 5 man poled tunnel tent for families of up to five who want two bedrooms and a living space without a heavy carry. It sleeps five across two Dark Premier bedrooms with mesh ventilation, and the living area between them provides shared space for kit, meals and downtime.

The Outtex CoolTech flysheet lowers interior temperatures by up to 15°C on warm days, and the solution-dyed fabric takes its colour against UV exposure. Duratec fibreglass poles in 8.5 mm and 11-12.7mm sizes hold the frame, and Outwell's patented Wind Stabilizer System is tested to force 8. A sewn-in, double-coated waterproof polyethylene groundsheet seals the base, with a 4,000mm hydrostatic head against rain.

A front canopy shelters the entrance, and double zips on the front door sit behind a full mesh panel for insect-free airflow. Tinted windows with toggle-up curtains offer privacy and light control, and mesh pockets keep small items to hand. The HookTrack System takes lights and items up to 1.5kg along a roof track, and the back ventilation system keeps air circulating. The tent is OLS-Ready for Outwell's built-in Light System (available separately), with a cable entry point for hook-up power.

A family of four who will not need the fifth space saves 2kg on the Outwell Sky 4 Compact, which packs down to 61 x 27 x 27cm. The Sky 5 Compact offers the additional room to a bigger family, or to a child who would rather sleep in an individual bedroom section.

Hydrostatic Head (mm)4000The hydrostatic head of a fabric indicates how well it can keep water out and how waterproof it is. The higher the number, the better!
