What is the rigid air system in the Outwell Sunhill 5 Air?

In the Outwell Sunhill range, the tents feature individual air tubes that are inflated and deflated separately, via easy access external valves. If you are unlucky enough to damage one of the air tubes, then the structure of the others will keep you dry and safe against the elements, until it can be repaired. It is also worth mentioning that these Outwell Tents are very quick to pitch and take down, leaving you with as much valuable family time as possible. Also, the pre-shaped airtubes provide great head height and maximise interior space. The Aerodynamic design of the Outwell Sunhill 5 Air Tents involves a hidden structure that will protect the whole tent, keeping it stable whatever the elements. This design of tent has an aerodynamic storm protection in the camping world, which basically means on the Beaufort Scale it can survive strong winds of 75-88km/h.

How useful is the Easy Access System in an Outwell Tent?

All the newer tents in the Outwell range have an Easy Access System, which means the main door and mesh fold toggle neatly to one side and the groundsheet lies flush with the ground, removing the trip hazard many tents have. The Outwell Sunhill Tents we have in stock here at Leisureshopdirect, are made from Outwell's Outtex 4000 Select, which is a very durable, reliable fabric. Having a weight of 64gr/m2, it is not too heavy to manouvre and the high frequency thread has an interlacing weave for increased strength. It is a polyester and cotton mix providing a very resistant material which also has a sealing effect due to the cotton content. It has a waterproof hydrostatic head of 4000mm and the fabric is treated to repel water, not only making it highly waterproof, but also easy to clean. This Outwell tent has undergone seam sealing PU taping, ensuring leak free seams. With a UPF 0f 30+, it offers high sun protection and it obviously meets the European requirements on fire retardation.

What benefits does the Outwell Hook Track System offer?The Outwell Hook Track System is a cleverly designed series of strategically placed tracks, that allow the placement of special hooks. These hooks are ideal for running cables around the tent, keeping them from being trip hazards.
