The Fiamma Vent F Pro sits at the premium end of the 40x40cm rooflight range, bringing together Italian engineering with practical everyday ventilation for motorhomes, caravans and campervan conversions. This model features a neutral white internal and external frame finished with a crystal-clear transparent cover, letting maximum natural light flood through whilst the integrated pleated blackout blind gives you complete control over privacy and light levels. The removable mosquito screen keeps insects out during warmer weather and comes away entirely for straightforward cleaning between trips. At 4.7kg with permanent ventilation of 100cm², it provides continuous airflow even when fully closed, helping prevent condensation buildup during storage.

How does the Vent F Pro's sandwich mounting system simplify installation?


The sandwich mounting system eliminates additional roof drilling by screwing the inner frame directly through to the outer frame, creating a secure watertight seal without penetrating beyond the existing 40x40cm aperture. This design works with roof thicknesses between 28mm and 55mm, whilst the reinforced frame makes it interchangeable with older 40x40cm Fiamma models and even vents from 36x36cm up to 42x42cm.

Opening and closing relies on an ergonomic handwheel mechanism with silent kinematics, turning eight full rotations for complete opening. Two double-strength support arms hold the crystal cover firmly in position at any angle, providing extra stability compared to single-arm designs - particularly useful when driving with the vent partially open. The aerodynamic external profile stands just 9.2cm above the roofline, creating minimal drag without requiring an additional spoiler, whilst the patented rubber seal system and ABE approval (Certificate ECE R43) confirm it meets European safety standards. The entire unit measures 57x53cm externally with a 49x49cm internal frame dimension, and there's the option to retrofit a Turbo-Vent F motorised fan kit later if you want powered extraction running from your 12V system.

Thanks to the ‘sandwich’ mounting system, this model can be installed without having to drill any additional holes in the roof of the vehicle. Its aerodynamic shape means no spoiler is needed.

What's the difference between the Vent F Pro and standard Vent 40?
The Vent F Pro represents Fiamma's premium 40x40cm rooflight range with several upgrades over the standard Vent 40. It uses neutral white framing (rather than ivory), has double support arms for increased stability, and includes the sandwich mounting system which eliminates additional roof drilling. Will the Vent F Pro fit my existing 40x40cm roof opening?

Can I add a motorised fan to the Vent F Pro later?
Absolutely. The Vent F Pro has been designed specifically to accept Fiamma's optional Turbo-Vent F upgrade kits, which convert it into a powered ventilation system running from your 12V DC supply. You can choose between the standard Kit Turbo-Vent F or the premium version with thermostat and touch controls. The upgrade kit features a 10-blade fan with variable speed control, reversible operation for intake or extraction, and mounts inside the existing rooflight without requiring any roof modifications. This means you can start with the manual version and retrofit the fan whenever your budget allows or ventilation needs change.
Does the pleated blind provide complete blackout?
The pleated blind provides effective light reduction for sleeping and privacy but isn't a total blackout like you'd get with solid white external covers. It's a semi-translucent fabric that significantly darkens the interior whilst still allowing some diffused light through. The advantage over Fiamma's solid white covers is that you get both light control when needed and maximum brightness when the blind is retracted, making it ideal for everyday use where you want flexibility. If you need complete darkness, you'd need to add an additional thermal insulation cover like the Fiamma Thermo Vent 40, which sits externally and provides both blackout and temperature control.
