Device is excellent and easy to use. Because the (rear) corner steadies on my caravan are set close to the margin of the body, I found the item slightly longer than desirable but overall not a major problem. One to recommend provided your drill is fully charged!!

This along with a battery drill and the caravan mover takes all the manual effort from setting up your caravan, much cheaper than having motors fitted to the steadies obviously but just as effective if you are reasonably mobile. This helped me return to caravaning quickly after a prolapsed disc so worth every penny.

What a great item to have if you own a caravan. This makes the job of lowering or raising the stabilisers of the caravan effortless. With a good drill, it's done in seconds. It's quite long (50cm), but this doesn't make any difference to me. This is an item I wouldn't do without.

I have a long hand socket which came with my caravan but getting more lazy in my old age bought this to use with my electric drill.<br />Almost perfect, I still have to bend down to connect to caravan leg! but I suppose you can't have everything at this price.

As long as you ensure that your battery drill is fully charged before hitching on the caravan you should draw admiring and jealous glances in equal measure from your fellow caravanners. I used to smile ironically when I saw people winding down caravans steadies with a battery drill, but having tried it with this well made tool, I would not now be without it. It is long enough to reach the recessed winders. It is nicely galvanised & I feel it is worth the money.

It has taken me a while to give in to buying one of these, but now I would not be without it. For those of us of mature years, and possibly with a bad back, it is the answer to awkwardly placed caravan steadies. The extension is well made, and a good compromise between the strength to do the job and stowage room. A simple battery powered electric drill is all that is needed to go with this to make using your caravan steadies a much more pleasant job.<br /><br />Although a rather obvious point, it is worth pointing out that although the permanently fitted socket fits most British built caravans, some research is essential before buying just in case your caravan has a different sized hexagon on its steadies.<br /><br />Thoroughly recommended

I have been caravaning for over 30 years and have in the past owned 3 of this type spanner for raising side legs of van. This is the best I have ever owned, it is stronger and longer than any previous type I have owned, and the price is very reasonable. Would recommend to any caravanner.Delivery was also very prompt.
