The built-in Thetford C402X Cassette Toilet consists of two parts: a permanently installed toilet and a removable wasteholding tank.

The built-in Cassette Toilet consists of two parts: a permanently installed toilet and a removable wasteholding tank. A clever indicator lets you know when the tank needs to be emptied, and you can access and remove the tank through a small door on the outside of the vehicle.

This series has several unique features, including the fact that the waste holding tank has wheels and a retractable handle to allow ease of handling. In addition, the working mechanism in the waste holding tank is removable, making the inside of the tank easy to clean and maintain, while an advanced level indicator display shows the levels in the waste holding tank and/or flush-water tank. Featuring a waste tank with wheels and retractable handle for complete ease of handling, the Thetford C402X Cassette Toilet also has a handy waste tank level indicator as well as an in built emptying spout and vent plunger for emptying without splashing.

A lightweight yet robust design with an optimal use of space, the Thetford C402X Cassette Toilet comes complete with an automatic pressure release valve which prevents a build up of gases in the waste holding tank to reduce odours.

I get black bits in my flush water, what can I do?
WHY: For a fresh and clean start and optimal performance of Aqua Rinse Plus, clean your flush-water tank before the first use by following these instructions.

WHAT NEEDED: Household bleach + bucket/watering can

HOW:
1. Prepare a solution using 100ml household bleach per 10L of flush-water tank capacity. Prepare as much solution as needed to completely fill your flush-water tank.
2. Fill the flush-water tank completely with the prepared solution.
3. Leave it in for 24 hours.
4. Drain the flush-water tank by using the drain tube or flushing system.
5. Then fill the flush-water tank completely with fresh water and leave it in for 5 minutes.
6. Drain the flush-water tank again.
7. Repeat step 5+6 to make sure no bleach is left behind.

Note:
Do not use together with other products.

What can I do when the flush of my toilet doesn't work?
The toilet's fuse might possibly be defect. Please check if the fuse is okay and replace it if necessary. You can find the fuse in the area in which the waste-holding tank is placed. If this is not the case, please contact yourdealer or Thetford Service Centre.

You should check if the waste-holding tank is well positioned and check if the lipseal is okay. If this is not the case, please contact your dealer or Thetford Service Centre.
Why doesn't my toilet have a flush water level indication?
This is optional and depends on your model /version. Please contact your dealer or Thetford Service Center for additional information.
What can I do when my toilet keeps on flushing?
You should check if the electric valve and the flush switch are okay. If this does not solve your issue, please contact your dealer or Thetford Service Centre.

How often do I have to replace the lip seal?
Depending on user behaviour, we recommend replacement after 4-6 years.
Why is my waste level indicator not working property?

Can I use normal toilet paper in my waste-holding tank?
We recommend using Aqua Soft. This toilet paper dissolves quickly and prevents problems in the cassette. In addition, is easier to clean the cassette
