Well made and very easy to install, I decided to buy this after my heating temp being all over the place, I tried to get the heating at a comfortable level however it was always too hot or cold. I think after spending so much on a caravan these should be fitted as standard.

ALDE Room Temp Sensor

A great upgrade for your ALDE 3020 HE control panel.....NOT the boiler as the vendors description implies. This sensor, along with one of the extension cables, ( 0.5, 2 or 8 meter lengths), simply installs in the rear of the control panel. 2 additional sensors can be installed on the 3020 HE panel. The benefit with 1 additional sensor comes from the fact that you may wish to change the location of the salon heat sensor from roof level, (as the built in sensor is in the control panel its self), to a lower and more accurately located position within your caravan or M'home. The benefit comes from the fact that the sensor when located at mid height in your vehicle will better measure the air temp were you sit rather than were you do not! With a second sensor, say in the bedroom with the 8 meter cable, you can measure and correctly set the temp for that area at night. This I have done as the control panel has all the additional settings for this advance operation. It works very well and I have experienced much better comfort because of the upgrade measuring, both during the day and especially at night.

The built-in sensor on the control panel is hidden away effectively insulated from the air in the van. It’s also in the the doorway in the path of cooler air. The van maker should have already installed one. Essential purchase! Ridiculously expensive but effective.

I bought this item as the existing sensor is built in to the controller and senses the temperature inside the wardrobe wall. I have fitted it on the outside of the wardrobe and is neat and discreet. A nessessary accessory for an efficient heating system.
