the toilet waste in my caravan is coming back into the toilet area/ shower tray and when I went to empty the holding tank there was waste underneath and little inside the tank. does this mean that I need new seals, if so which ones. it is a thetford toilet and on the information label the details are as follows. model; cass c2 r white no:1631862 g08 code:990223. look forward to you reply , thanks for you help.

You will need to replace the lip seal to see if this cures the problem. Our ref. 129415

I need to replace the waste tank lip seal on a Thetford C2 cassette toilet. How do I know whether it was pre or post 15th June 2000? It is Model: Cassette PP C2 R A. Number: 1634719 G07 0114. Code: 921215. Your help would be much appreciated.

The lip seal required for this toilet is our part 129415.

Good Morning, My question is regarding parts for my Thetford toilet cassette. I need to replace the main seal and the vent seal. The toilet came with my caravan and I presume is original. Does as it says easy to replace. If your sliding lid keeps falling of this will help it stay on. If it’s leaking this will stop it (proving it’s leaking from this seal and you for it correct) Use gloves and give good rinse out first. Used this on old caravan.

Arrived quickly, correct product as ordered - always a good start!
Removed the old one, cleaned the area, applied a little silicone spray and the new one popped in no bother - five minutes from start to finish.
Only just fitted it so can't comment on the longevity (or otherwise), but it appears to be a genuine Thetford part so should be good for a few years.
I'll use Leisure Shop Direct again.
