6 FAQs on the Thetford Electric Valve Assembly for Thetford Cassette Toilets

thetford c3 R blowing fuses and stopping flushing
You have a faulty electric valve, our ref. 229433
I have a c200 toilet in a 2005 Hymer b584. I suddenly notice the toilet flushed or a least the water in the bowl ran whenever another tap in the bathroom or kitchen was turned on. I noticed when you press the flush bottom the toilet does not flush as strongly as normal. I also notice when I turn on a tap in the kitchen or bathroom there is a delay in the water flow.
There appears to be a problem with the electric valve in the toilet and this will need replacing. Our ref. 129433
Hi, I have a Thetford C200 flush toilet and water is running out of the inlet pipe at the top of the bowl into the main bowl even when it is not being flushed. Is the water coming directly from the inboard water tank. How do I fix this?
There is an electric valve, our ref. 129433, which allows water to pass from the water tank to the flush when energised by pressing the blue button. If the valve in the electric valve is not closing when you release the button then water will continue to pass to the toilet flush. It is likely that you will need to replace the electric valve.
thetford c200cs not flushing checked 3 amp fuse replaced how do i get in to check to see if pump is working the pump switch is clicking
There is no pump in this toilet as the flush works from the caravan water pump. It is most likely that the electrovalve is faulty and needs replacing, our ref. 129433. This is accessed through the roof of the cassette chamber.
my Thetford C250 cassette has flushed three times on its own,(without pressing the blue flush button) so overflowing the toilet and flooding the bathroom. What is causing this and how do I get it rectified.
This is a problem with the electric valve and you will need to replace it, our part 129433. Details how to do this can be found on site - go to http://www.leisureshopdirect.com/caravan/water/thetford_cassette_toilets/Thetford_C-250_Cassette_Toilet_and_Spares.aspx.
Hi I have a thetford c200s/cs cassette toilet when I press the flush button it pumps a little water and then blows the 3 amp fuse I have removed the control panel and the connection from the reed switch to the led bulb has been broken would this be the reason or is it more likely to be the electric valve
The problem will be with the electric valve, our part 129433.
