My 12 year old shaft snapped off. If I hadn't been able to buy this part I'd have been in trouble.
The semi-circular pivot part isn't identical to the original (the mounting holes are sleeved, so the original screws are too short) so I kept the old one. The part I needed was a straight swap so my cassette was quickly back in use.

Found the diagrams easy to follow to identify the right part. My daughter broke the original whilst opening the flap and I thought it was going to be a lot harder and more expensive to find a replacement. I will certainly use this website / company as a first stop for any of my caravan spares

Both parts arrived within 48 hours, great. Parts fitted no problem, once I had removed the complete toilet which was not easy.

It's a toilet bit. Arrived within a few days , fitted with no problems. Mind you, if it was designed properly I wouldn't have to pay out for a new one every few years

The item was ordered as I found the spring dangling in space. on receipt of the replacement shaft it was obvious that the small plastic nib would fracture easily as the spring is quite strong. A small self tapping screw now replaces the broken nib. So I have a spare shaft for emergencies.

The part for my toilet blade opening mechanism came really quickly and was easy to fit using Thetford's instructions. Only slight problem was that the retaining plate had been modified to take longer screws to make it easier to fit so I used the old one.
I bought this product as the shaft on my old one had broken off making opening and closing the toilet blade almost impossible and likewise emptying
the cassette.
I fitted the part while on a wild campsite as my makeshift fix had failed mid camp. It was easy to do with the minimal tools at my disposal. Just a screwdriver really.

Delighted to have tracked down this shaft assembly replacement kit for our Thetford C402C toilet and at an extremely reasonable price, having spent two weeks trying to find a company who was able to supply us with one! It was very easy to order on their website and was delivered quickly. The kit contains all the bits and pieces needed to replace our broken handle shaft. In future, Leisureshop Direct will be the first internite site we check out when shopping for caravan equipment.
