We like to treat our Coachman Amara 380/2 water system pre season and every 6 months just to keep things squeaky clean. This stuff works really well and, although we use a separate drinking water container for making drinks, the water from the system does not taste at all after using Puriclean.

Easy to use and seems to do a very good job judging by the debris flushed out. However, from past experience make a thorough job of flushing it out. I didn't on one occasion and found out the first time I boiled a kettle and foaming water went all over the place! Also, it does not appear to cause any damage to the hot water boiler. A very good product, well worth the 5 stars.

I used it as directed and my campervan waste and fresh water has been ok after treatment and a good flush. I inspected the freshwater tank after my drain down and it was free of mould and smells etc. I bought this as it does not affect stainless steel, as found in some water heaters.

I did quite a bit of research into this. I have a VW T5 campervan and use this to keep the fresh water tank 'sweet'. Afterwards, I drain the treatment into the grey water tank and leave it sloshing around in there too before getting rid of it into a suitable grey water drain. The whole system is then rinsed through with fresh water. I do this this process twice a year. I think it is because of this routine maintenance that I have never had problems with the on-board water system in the van. Apparently, according to what I read on the internet and on the manufacturers label, it does not damage the internal parts of the water system that other bleach based chemicals might do.<br /><br />I bought the 400g tub as it was better value than the 100g tub. Please note that the product is in a white powder form, not tablets.

Arrived quickly. Easy to use, except larger grains of powder were quite difficult to dissolve. Did a good job cleaning out the water tank on my narrowboat.

Have used this for years. Annual purification of fresh water tank on camper van. It's a slightly fiddly job, but that's not a reflection on the product. Just follow the instructions, run a bit through the taps as well to purify all the pipework. Then, after the waiting time, run the whole tank throughout the tank and into the waste tank before jettisoning. Then flush through with fresh water. It must work OK, we have never had poorly tummies and it leaves no after-taste.

We have used this for a number of years to clean out the external water drum, internal water tank, and the various water pipes in our Caravan. Usually flush it into the system and leave in place overnight, and then flush it out of the system with 3 drums of clean fresh water, until there is no colour or taste to the Caravan water supply. Instructions on the pack really good. A great price on-line as this is what we would normally pay locally for the smaller pack.

Excellent product for sterilising your water tank and pipework. Works well!! I used it after descaling the system with Citric Acid and was very pleased with the result. Much cheaper than Milton!!

I got this to clean out our Caravan's water system. The instructions could have been more helpful. (For instance, leave to soak for 1 - 12 hours. Rather wide limits.) I used it the other day, without any problems. But how do I know it has done the job? We'll just have to wait and see what the water is like next time we take the caravan out!

This arrived quickly though haven't really had a chance to use it but on recommendations it is the answer to my worries about keeping pipework, tank etc clean and water pure. I started motorhoming last season and carried separate drinking water, using tank water for washing up etc only. This year I hope to be able to use the tank water!!

It cleans as well as sterilizes, and it does not corrode the water heater, etc. It may cost significantly more than Milton to use, but for a twice a season application I consider it is worth it for the preceding advantages.
