The Alde Compact 4000 D series represents the latest advancement in diesel-powered hydronic heating for motorhomes, caravans and campervans. These Swedish-engineered systems combine diesel and electric power sources to deliver up to 9kW of heating output whilst providing integrated hot water production. Unlike traditional blown-air systems, these hydronic heaters circulate heated glycol through convectors and pipes, creating silent, draught-free warmth that distributes evenly throughout your vehicle.

Both models in the 4000 D range operate across two power ranges: 1-6kW diesel and 1-3kW mains electric, allowing flexible operation whether you're on hook-up or wild camping. The diesel operation draws directly from your vehicle's fuel tank, eliminating the need for separate gas bottles or frequent LPG refills. The systems feature dual-zone heating control, letting you set different temperatures in separate areas of your vehicle, plus modern digital control panels for easy operation.

The key difference between the standard 4000 D and the Plus model lies in hot water delivery - whilst the standard version provides hot water from a 10-litre tank, the Plus offers continuous hot water production at up to 4 litres per minute. Installation requires professional fitting due to the flue arrangements and glycol system complexity, but both models suit a wide range of vehicle types from compact campervans to large A-class motorhomes.

Being able to combine two power sources, electrical and diesel, the Alde Compact 4000 D Plus delivers an impressive total output of 9 kW. This dual-power capability ensures robust and reliable heating performance, making it suitable for a wide range of climates and conditions.

Building on the success of Alde's previous models, the Alde Compact 4000 D Plus offers an advanced dual-zone heating option. This allows users to set and control temperatures in two distinct zones within their vehicle.
