The Alde Compact 4000 D Plus extends the capabilities of the standard 4000 D with continuous hot water production, delivering unlimited hot water at up to 4 litres per minute alongside the same 9kW hydronic heating output. This diesel-powered system draws fuel from your vehicle's main tank whilst providing the same silent, even heat distribution through convectors and radiators that Alde hydronic systems are known for. The Plus model eliminates the waiting time between showers that affects tank-based water heaters, making it ideal for families or extended off-grid camping.

Like the standard model, the 4000 D Plus operates on dual power sources - 1-6kW diesel and 1-3kW electric - with intelligent control systems that automatically adjust power levels to maintain set temperatures efficiently. The continuous hot water function works by heating water on-demand as it flows through the system, similar to a domestic combination boiler, whilst maintaining the same dual-zone heating control for different vehicle areas. The system accepts various diesel fuel types including HVO100 biofuel for reduced environmental impact.

Installation requires professional expertise due to the more complex plumbing arrangements for continuous hot water production compared to standard tank systems. The Plus model suits medium to large motorhomes and caravans where higher hot water demand justifies the additional complexity and cost over the standard 4000 D. Fresh water supply limitations still apply - whilst the system produces continuous hot water, you're still limited by your vehicle's water tank capacity and waste tank volume.

The boiler Alde Compact 4000 D Plus provides central heating and continuous hot water. The heating system contains both a diesel burner and electrical elements, and can be powered with either separately or both together.

The Alde Compact 4000 D Plus operates in two power ranges (1–6 kW for diesel, 1–3 kW mains electric) for a combined 1–9 kW of heating and continuous hot water. Heating is distributed via pipes, convectors and other heating accessories throughout the whole vehicle.

Heat convects upwards through air gaps, enveloping the interior in a gentle and unobtrusive warmth. Being a modular and adaptable system it is suitable for a huge range of vehicle types, from campervans to overlanders, to sports homes and luxury horseboxes.
