The Olpro Hanley is the fibreglass-pole model of Olpro's Hanley drive-away campervan awning, for owners of vans between 190cm and 250 cm tall, including the VW Transporter, Ford Transit Custom, Vauxhall Vivaro, Renault Trafic and Mazda Bongo. It brings a 365 x 280cm living and stowage room next to your van with 210cm of standing height, and because it is a drive-away, the awning remains pitched while you take the van out for the day.

The 220 x 120cm tunnel has a door on each side, so you get in and out of the van without walking through the awning, and tension straps keep it tight. Dual 4mm and 6mm beading fixes it to your awning rail or to a drive-away kit, and the AQUABARRIER™ system prevents water pooling at the tunnel base.

Inside there is a roof skylight, fly mesh doors, ventilation panels, a sewn-in groundsheet and a cable entry point, with four doors and five windows in total. The fabric is OLTECH® REPRO 210T ripstop, made of recycled disposable plastic bottles, with a 5,000mm hydrostatic head. Olpro offers a pitch time of around 10 minutes, and pegs, guy lines, storm straps, a spare pole, a repair kit and a large carrying bag come with it.

Campervanners who would rather pump than build a frame pick the Hanley Breeze, the inflatable Hanley, which is the same size, fits the same vans and has an integrated porch for boots and wet equipment. Does the Hanley take an electric hook-up?
Yes. A cable entry point lets you bring a hook-up lead into the awning. Inside there's also a roof skylight, five windows, fly mesh doors and three vents, with 210cm of standing height.
What warranty does the Hanley have?

Hydrostatic Head5000The Hydrostatic Head of a fabric indicates how well it can keep water out and how waterproof it is. The higher the number, the better! An awning needs at least a 1000mmHH for light showers. Heavy rain and driving wind will put more pressure on the fabric and therefore requires a higher HH of at least 2000mm HH. Anything higher than this will mean it can keep out water being pushed through, for example by someone leaning against it.
