Incredibly Easy Inflation

Designed to be a stress-free product, the Kela V can be inflated in minutes, with an AirSpeed® Valve System in place to make it incredibly easy. Additional bracing can be used to keep your awning secure in adverse weather conditions.

Low-Condensation Design

The Kela V is designed to perform extremely well in adverse weather conditions, with smartly placed low air vents providing enough airflow to limit the build-up of condensation inside your awning. This can help to prevent issues like mould.

Features of the Vango Kela V (Low, Standard and Tall)

• The Vango AirBeam® system means the awning is super quick to pitch and creates a great strong and rigid structure. This means the Kela V is more suited for longer stays, up to a few weeks, than some of the other awning designs.
• It has an Oxford Polyester Groundsheet, which Vango have found to be the perfect balance between low weight and high durability.
• The Groundsheet is fully sewn-in and attached to the flysheet. There is an external storm skirt to create a bug and draught free home away from home.
• Sentinel Pro fabric makes the Kela V extremely waterproof and durable and it is created by a blend of fibres. Along with the Double Ripstop Weave construction it is 245% stronger than the entry level Sentinel Active fabric. Therefore the Kela V has been designed with the dedicated motor homers and caravanners who embark on several trips a year. The Sentinel Pro will perform in all weather conditions so is intended for use in more months of the year than the entry level awnings.
• It's also important to mention the Sentinel Pro fabric has ColourLok™ technology (new to Vango this year) to enhance resistance to UV fading. It also has an Ultraviolet protection factor, UPF 50+
• The AirSpeed® Valve System and easy access positioning have been designed by Vango to inflate your AirBeam®s with even less effort than before.......more time to relax!
• To ensure the Kela V awning performs in adverse conditions, especially in strong, changeable winds, Vango have created the Vango Patented TBS®II Tension Band System. When tensioned, the bands brace the beam or pole at 3 points and prevent sideways movement. Then by adjusting the TBS®II you remove any slack. (Do not over tension, as this may deform the poles. Can be stowed away in calm weather).
• Making it stand out from other awnings, the Kela is fitted with the SkyTrack II® System, which is a flexible hanging system, allowing you to easily attach lighting, storage or SkyLiners.
• The High Visibility Guylines with Tidies try to ensure that they won't be a trip hazard to even the most clumsy! The lower half of the guylines are v bright orange and of course they are perfect at ensuring stability in high winds. The touch fasteners tidies are great for rolling up the guylines when not in use.
• An Adjustable Pegging System allows your awning to be pitched perfectly on uneven surfaces.
• To maximise light and visibility and to provide a bright and airy environment in your home away from home, Vango have installed Diamond Clear windows.
• Skylight windows. These are windows which run along the roof line of the awning to maximise light during the day and for star gazing at night.
• To allow varying levels of opening, the Zipped Privacy Curtains are quick and very simple to use. They are fitted to the flysheet with no gaps and they simply roll down into pockets, when you want to sit down and admire the view or watch the children play!
• To enable versatile entry/exit to the front and back of your vehicle, the Kela V has a Two Door Connecting Tunnel.
• The Connecting Tunnel is also Roll Away so it's super quick and simple when you drive away for the day on an adventure to easily roll back the tunnel. Likewise, the Roll Away Connecting Tunnel is just as easy to roll out and reattach.
• A shade (or rain!) canopy can be created by using King Poles (need to be bought seperately) in the Integrated eyelets of the door.
• Insect free ventilation is achieved by the 2 Mesh Doors. Front and side doors fitted with internal mesh panel.
• Low Level Ventilation helps circulate air within the awning and reduces condensation.
• To make life even easier Vango have supplied an Oversized Bag which has a wide opening. This makes it simpler to pack away your awning quickly. This design also includes robust compression straps allowing you to reduce the overall pack size, handy when trying to squeeze everything back into the van.
• The Airaway vehicle awnings come with a Double Action Pump in a carry bag. This allows you to rapidly inflate your awning and it's worth mentining it has a pressure dial.
• The Airaways also come with Steel Ground Pegs and mallet in a carry bag. These steel rock pegs are strong, durable and can be used on more challenging terrain.
• As mentioned earlier there are a number of ways the Kela V can be attached to your vehicle. The Multiple Attachment Methods are 1. Pre-attached 6mm kador, 2. over vehicle straps, 3. roof bar attachment tabs and 4.sleeve for pole & clamp (see further down for more details in the extra info section).
• If you experience strong winds, there is no need to worry with the Kela V as the Storm Straps give additional stability. You simply clip the storm straps onto the pre-attached buckles and peg into the ground to secure them. Extra peace of mind means you sleep better on the more stormy night!
• Cable entry point with tidies. This zipped entry point for your power cable has touch fastener tidies make it safer and neater on the eye!

• Included with the AirAway® Vehicle Awnings- Pre-attached 6mm kador strip, over vehicle webbing straps, roof bar attachment tabs, sleeve for pole & clamp, steel rock pegs & mallet with carry bag, easy pack carry bag and double action pump with carry bag

• A kela Footprint is made from a similar material to the groundsheet, which is already sewn-in to this awning. Basically it sits in between your awning and the ground and is pegged down in the corners. It prolongs the life of your awning, creates a groundsheet in your connecting tunnel and it keeps the awning cleaner for packing away.
• The Kela Carpet just helps to give a more luxurious feel, by ensuring comfort and warmth underfoot and makes cleaning the awning out much easier.
• The Kela Skyliner creates a thermal barrier to help regulate temperature. Many campers believe it makes the awning more homely as well.
