We used our Milenco Thermal windscreen cover for the first time this weekend. The weather was pretty wet but the screen did its job and didnt allow for any condensation in the van. However when we came to take down the cover for the trip home the seams had split in three places, twice along the bottom and once up the middle join, this has resulted in the internal stuffing coming out of the cover. We have tried to rectify this by using Gorilla tape to tape up the splits. We are not holding out much hope that the cover will last much longer. We also noted that red dye was dripping down from the zips that allow you to open up the screen and let some light in during the daytime. All in all not particularly happy with the product.
Since writing my initial review Craig from LeisureShopDirect got in contact with me to suggest i return screen as they will consider returning to Milenco under guarantee. Craig responded that Milenco agreed the screen was faulty and agreed to replace screen. Craig managed the return of new screen within a couple of days. Should stress that my initial review was relating to the screen cover and not leisureshopdirect. Here’s hoping that i will not have any issues with the new cover.
