Planning Your Visit to the Motorhome and Caravan Show

To get the most out of your trip to the show, it is best to plan your visit.

Food and Drink
There will be a selection of restaurants serving breakfast, lunch, hot food and drinks on site. There are also picnic areas where you can enjoy any food you brought with you. You can find out more about the food and drink options by contacting Amadeus before the event.

Onsite Campsite
The Caravan and Motorhome Club will host a temporary onsite campsite at the NEC. Space is limited and tickets to the campsite must be booked separately. For pave pitches, the cost is £42 per night and £32 for Sunday 23 October. For shingle pitches, the cost is £37 per night and £27 for Sunday 23 October.

Standard pitches measure 9 metres x 10 metres and have a maximum occupancy of six people. Electric hook-up pitches are a maximum of 16 amps. Fresh water is available, but it is a good idea to fill up your tank before you come to the site. Black and grey waste disposal will be available. There are bars and restaurants a short distance from the campsite.

Overnight camping is not allowed anywhere else on the NEC site. Visitors who park overnight outside of the campsite may be towed.

Disabled Access to the Motorhome and Caravan Show
All levels of the NEC are wheelchair accessible, and the main entrances have automatic doors. Wheelchairs are available free of charge to Blue Badge holders and for £5 for other visitors. You can rent a scooter for £15 per day. Pre-booking is advised. Carers accompanying a registered disabled visitor may request a free ticket to the show. There is disabled parking on site, but it can not be pre-booked.

Accessories for Your Leisure Vehicle

You just bought your brand-new leisure vehicle. Now what? There are a variety of accessories that can make your new caravan or motorhome a more pleasant place to spend a holiday.

Water Hose
You need a way to connect your vehicle to the water source at your campsite. Purchase a few water hoses in different lengths to ensure you can make a good connection.

Water Filter
You will use water from many different sources as you travel. Some water is drinkable out of the tap. Some has sediment and particles that need to be filtered out. A motorhome water filter can help ensure you always have access to drinkable water.

Caravan & Motorhome Toilet Rolls
To avoid unpleasant clogs in your caravan's plumbing system, you need toilet paper that dissolves quickly. It is best to purchase camping toilet rolls made specifically for use in leisure vehicles.

Levellers
You can't count on your camping spot being level. Aside from the discomfort of sleeping on an uneven surface, not levelling your caravan or motorhome can damage your refrigerator. Fortunately, you can purchase caravan and motorhome levellers to fix this issue. It is also advisable to purchase chocks to ensure your vehicle doesn't roll away while parked.

Wi-Fi Accessories
Purchasing a leisure vehicle from the Motorhome and Caravan Show can be a great way to get away from the hustle and bustle of modern life, but sometimes it is still nice to be able to stream your favourite show or look up information about your destination. Wi-Fi accessories, such as booster kits, routers and hotspots, can help you stay connected while on the go.

Cooking Gear
If you don't want to rely on takeout or cold sandwiches for your entire holiday, stock up on cooking gear. There are a variety of options, including hobs, stoves, cookers and grills.

Camping Chairs
You won't be spending all of your time in your caravan or motorhome. Camping chairs are an essential item for making your outdoor space comfortable and functional.

Lanterns
Campsites are often dark at night, and you may not always be able to make a campfire. Lanterns provide light for evening activities.
