New Isabella Products for 2026: Complete Range Guide

Isabella's 2026 collection brings 14 new and updated products to its Ventura Air range, with inflatable awnings for caravans and motorhomes sitting alongside a refreshed poled porch awning and four camping accessories. This guide covers every new Isabella product available at Leisure Shop Direct for 2026, with full specifications, technology breakdowns, use-case recommendations, and detailed comparisons to help you pick the right setup.

Isabella was founded in 1957 by Soren Odgaard, who sewed his first ridge tent in the basement of his home in Vejle, Denmark. The company name comes from Odgaard's love of the Borgward Isabella car. Isabella moved into awning production in 1964 as caravan holidays grew in popularity, and Odgaard invented the A-measurement system for sizing caravan awnings in 1967. Today, Isabella employs over 270 people, manufactures in Europe, and sells in more than 35 countries. The Ventura sub-brand launched in 1986 as a touring-focused range, and the 2026 collection represents its biggest expansion to date with the introduction of the Smart Air System across all new models.

Caravan or Motorhome? Choosing the Right 2026 Awning

The first decision when selecting from the Isabella 2026 range is if you need an awning for a caravan or a motorhome/campervan. The awning type, mounting method, and connection system differ between the two. Here is a breakdown of every 2026 Ventura Air model by vehicle type, mounting height, and primary use case.

ModelVehicle TypeMounting HeightAwning TypeStays Pitched When You Drive Away?Best For

If you own a caravan, the Aura (porch), Nova (full), and Sol (sun canopy) are your options. If you own a motorhome or campervan, choose between the Lux, Alto, or Vita depending on your vehicle's mounting height and if you need to drive away while the awning stays pitched. The Magnum Alba is a poled alternative for caravan owners who prefer a traditional frame over air tubes.

Ventura Air Awnings: The Smart Air System

Every Ventura Air awning in the 2026 range uses Isabella's Smart Air System. The air tubes throughout the awning are fully interconnected, with no additional welds or joints between them. You inflate the entire structure from a single valve using the included 12V electric pump. Air pressure automatically balances and equalises throughout the system, which keeps the awning structurally stable when temperatures change and wind picks up.

The single-valve inflation approach has a practical benefit: fewer connection points means fewer potential leak sites. Traditional multi-tube inflatable awnings rely on separate connections between each tube, and those joints are where leaks typically develop over time. Isabella's integrated design removes the weak point. Each valve has a rubber membrane preventing air from escaping when you detach the pump. All valves sit behind protective pockets shielding them from rain and dirt.

Porch awnings (Aura, Alto, Lux) have two deflation valves. The larger full-size Nova and the freestanding Vita driveaway awning have three deflation valves to handle the greater air volume. This means the Nova and Vita pack down faster relative to their size.

Shared Material Construction

The fabric construction across the Ventura Air range follows a consistent three-layer approach. The roof uses printed polyester (270 g/m² on the Vita), which gives a textile-like appearance while remaining durable and easy to maintain. The side walls are VenTex fibre-dyed polyester (300 g/m² on the Vita), and the inner skirt at the base is heavy-duty PVC (480 g/m² on the Vita), providing a moisture barrier where the awning meets the ground. All models share the same dark grey air tubes, Isaflex rubber straps, black base, and printed ceiling interior.

Standard included accessories on every Ventura Air model: curtains, transport bag, 12V electric pump, draught skirt, standard wheel cover, connection pad, and pegs. All models are prepared with internal rings for an optional inner roof (sold separately), which reduces condensation during cooler months. An optional Ventura Air annex fits all 2026 Ventura Air models and attaches to either the left or right side for extra sleeping or storage space.

Ventura Air Aura: Inflatable Porch Awning for Caravans

The Ventura Air Aura is a new-for-2026 air porch awning built for touring caravans. It measures 250 cm deep and is available in three widths: 260 cm, 330 cm, and 400 cm. Mounting height fits caravans with an awning rail between 240 and 260 cm. The Aura 260 weighs approximately 26 kg, the 330 weighs approximately 28.4 kg, and the 400 weighs approximately 31.3 kg.

Isabella Ventura Air Aura Awning

The Aura inflates from a single valve and deflates through two valves. All front and side panels unzip completely to convert the awning into a large open sun canopy, or you roll individual panels to the side to create extra doorways on warm days. The 260 cm and 330 cm widths include a veranda option with one pole supplied as standard, and the 400 cm does not include this option.

The included connection pad folds in half to create a tight seal between the awning and caravan. Ventilation comes from panels at the top of the front and mosquito nets on both sides. Isabella lists the Shadow Sun Canopy (sold separately, 200 cm depth, CarbonX poles, available in widths from 240 to 500 cm) as a compatible accessory for the Aura range. The Shadow mounts to the caravan rail or to the side of an awning and adds open-air shaded space without enclosing it.

The Aura is best suited to touring caravanners who move between sites regularly and want a quick-pitch shelter. If you typically stay on a single pitch for extended seasonal periods, Isabella's heavier-duty Isacryl-fabric awnings or their Villa and Casa year-round systems are better suited to long-term outdoor exposure.

Ventura Air Nova: Full A-Measurement Air Awning for Caravans

The Ventura Air Nova is Isabella's first full A-measurement air awning in the Ventura range, and it's new for 2026. Unlike porch awnings attaching to part of the caravan rail, the Nova runs the full length of the caravan. Available A-measurements run from A950 to A1075, with a consistent depth of 250 cm and a mounting height of 240 to 260 cm.

Isabella Ventura Air Nova Awning

The Nova has three deflation valves rather than the two on the porch models, which speeds up pack-down for a larger awning. It includes a veranda pole as standard, and all fronts and sides fully unzip to create a large sun canopy configuration. The Smart Air System works identically to the porch models, with single-valve inflation and automatic pressure equalisation.

The Nova is the right choice for caravanners who want the maximum possible living space from an air awning. A full A-measurement awning effectively doubles your usable floor area compared to a porch model. The trade-off is a larger packed size and longer inflation time compared to a porch, and you need to measure your caravan's A-measurement accurately before ordering. Isabella's online A-measurement search tool matches your measurement to the correct size, or you measure manually with a piece of string run from ground level on one side, through the awning rail, and down to ground level on the other side.

Ventura Air Sol: Air Sun Canopy for Caravans

The Ventura Air Sol is a new-for-2026 air sun canopy creating a shaded area of 250 x 400 cm in front of your caravan. It uses the same Smart Air System as the rest of the Ventura Air range, inflating from one valve and deflating through two. Unlike the enclosed awnings, the Sol is an open canopy, so it provides shade and light rain protection without side panels as standard.

Isabella Ventura Air Sol Sun Canopy

Optional side panels are available separately for both the left and right sides. Each panel is shaped to fit its specific side and is not interchangeable. With both panels attached, the Sol creates a semi-enclosed space while still allowing open access from the front.

The Sol keeps the caravan interior cooler by blocking direct sunlight from the windows. It's the lightest and simplest option in the 2026 Ventura Air range and is best suited to fair-weather touring where you want shade without the bulk and setup time of a full awning. The Sol uses the same printed polyester roof material and VenTex construction as the enclosed awnings. It includes a 12V electric pump as standard.

Ventura Air Lux and Alto: Motorhome Porch Awnings

The Ventura Air Lux and Ventura Air Alto are both new-for-2026 inflatable porch awnings designed for motorhomes and campervans. They share the same Smart Air System, 250 cm depth, three width options (260, 330, and 400 cm), VenTex side walls, and printed polyester roofs. The difference between them comes down to one critical measurement: the height of your motorhome's awning rail or mounting point.

Isabella Ventura Air Lux Awning

The Lux fits motorhomes with a mounting height of 240 to 260 cm. This covers most panel van conversions, smaller coachbuilt motorhomes, and many mid-size models. The Alto fits a higher mounting height of 260 to 280 cm, which suits taller vehicles such as A-class motorhomes, larger coachbuilts, and high-roof conversions.

The Alto also includes 12 foam pads not found on the Lux. These pads serve two purposes: they fill gaps between the awning and the motorhome body for a tighter seal, and they go under the air tubes on uneven terrain to level and stabilise the structure. If your motorhome has a complex body profile with curves or steps near the awning rail, the Alto's foam pads provide a better fit.

Both models are fixed porch awnings, not driveaways. You cannot disconnect and drive away while they remain pitched. If you need driveaway capability, the Ventura Air Vita is the correct choice.

How to Choose Between the Lux and Alto

Measure your motorhome's awning rail height from the ground. If it falls between 240 and 260 cm, order the Lux. If it falls between 260 and 280 cm, order the Alto. If your measurement is exactly 260 cm, the Lux is likely the better fit since it uses 260 cm as its upper limit, but check the mounting method on your specific vehicle. Getting this measurement wrong will result in a poor seal, pooling water, and potential instability.

Ventura Air Vita: Freestanding Driveaway Awning

The Ventura Air Vita is a new-for-2026 freestanding driveaway awning for motorhomes and campervans. It stays standing when you disconnect and drive away with your vehicle. The Vita measures 330 cm wide and 270 cm deep, giving it the largest floor area of any single Ventura Air porch-style awning at 8.91 m². Optional annexes extend the width to 470 cm with one annex or 610 cm with annexes on both sides.

Isabella Ventura Air Vita Driveaway Awning

The Vita connects to your vehicle through a separately sold tunnel, available in three heights: Small (180-200 cm), Medium (240-260 cm), and Large (260-280 cm). The Large tunnel includes an additional air tube for extra stability. The tunnel uses adjustable tapes to create a watertight seal against the vehicle, and the rear wall rolls aside for easy access during setup. This three-tunnel system means the Vita covers a mounting height range of 180 to 280 cm, the widest compatibility of any 2026 Ventura Air awning.

The Vita has three deflation valves for faster pack-down. Fabric weights are specified at 270 g/m² for the printed polyester roof, 300 g/m² for the VenTex sides, and 480 g/m² for the PVC inner skirt. Fronts and sides fully unzip to create an open sun canopy, and mosquito nets plus front ventilation maintain airflow when panels are closed.

The Vita is the right choice if you want to leave your awning pitched while using your motorhome for day trips or supply runs. The separate tunnel purchase is an additional cost to factor in, and you need to measure your vehicle's height accurately to select the correct tunnel size.

Isabella Air X-Tension and Connection Tunnels

The Isabella Air X-Tension is a continuing model in the 2026 range. It's a compact driveaway awning with an 8.25 m² floor area (330 x 250 cm), standing 235 cm tall and weighing 23 kg. It connects to campervans using one of two dedicated tunnels.

The Air X-Tension Tunnel for Urban Van fits vehicles with a pitched (sloping) rear roof such as the Renault Trafic, Ford Transit Custom, Nissan Primastar, Burstner Coppa, Ford Nugget, and Globevan Camp One. The Air X-Tension Tunnel for Van High fits high-roof vans such as the Hymer Free S, Hymer Grand Canyon S, and similar motorhomes built on the Mercedes Sprinter chassis. The Van High tunnel measures 320 x 130 cm and weighs 3.9 kg.

Ventura Air Annex: Add-On for All 2026 Ventura Air Awnings

The Ventura Air Annex is a new-for-2026 inflatable extension fitting all Ventura Air models from the 2026 range onward. It attaches to either the left or right side of the Aura, Alto, Lux, Nova, Vita, or Sol, adding a separate enclosed space for sleeping, storage, or a second living area. The annex uses its own air tube connecting into the awning's Smart Air System, maintaining the single-inflation approach across the combined setup. It measures 140 cm deep and includes its own transport bag.

Magnum Alba: Traditional Poled Porch Awning

The Magnum Alba is Isabella's poled porch awning alternative to the Ventura Air range. For 2026, Isabella has added a new compact 260 cm width alongside the existing 340 cm and 400 cm models. All three share a 250 cm depth and fit caravans with an awning rail height of 235 to 250 cm.

Isabella Magnum Alba/Etna Porch Awning

The frame is CarbonX, Isabella's carbon fibre-reinforced fibreglass system, with IsaFix locking clamps for tool-free assembly. The walls use Isacryl at 295 g/m², a breathable acrylic regulating indoor temperature and resists UV fading over many seasons. The roof uses Isaroof at 285 g/m², a three-layer UV-resistant acrylic. The base is PVC at 380 g/m². These are heavier and more durable fabrics than the Ventura Air range's printed polyester and VenTex.

The Alba colour concept uses steel and grey tones. The Magnum range does not use an air system, so there is no pump required and no air tubes to develop leaks. This is worth considering if you prefer the reliability of a mechanical frame or if you camp in colder temperatures where air tube pressure fluctuates more noticeably.

Awning Care and Maintenance

Isabella provides specific care guidance for the Ventura Air range. To maintain the awning fabric, vacuum or brush it off when dry, then wipe with a damp cloth. For deeper cleaning, use IsaClean. After cleaning, apply Aquatex reproofing spray to restore water resistance.

Windows require separate treatment. Spray Aquatex reproofer onto the window film and immediately wipe with a dry cloth. Isabella recommends doing this no more than twice per year to avoid build-up. Before packing the awning away, make sure it is completely dry to prevent mould and mildew. If you have to pack it away damp, unpack and air dry it as soon as possible.

For the Smart Air System, check valve seals periodically and confirm the rubber membrane sits flat when the pump is removed. Store the awning in its transport bag away from direct sunlight and sharp objects. The 12V pump should be kept dry and stored with the awning.

Warranty and Isabella Club

Ventura awnings, manufactured under licence by Isabella, come with a 2-year warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. Members of the free Isabella Club receive an additional year, bringing the total to 3 years. Isabella also operates an in-house repair service for warranty-covered issues. Membership is free and available through the Isabella website.

Frequently Asked Questions

What new Isabella awnings are available for 2026?
Isabella has launched six new Ventura Air awnings for 2026: the Aura (caravan porch awning in 260, 330, and 400 cm widths, weighing 26 to 31.3 kg), the Nova (full A-measurement caravan awning, A950 to A1075), the Sol (air sun canopy, 250 x 400 cm), the Lux (motorhome porch awning, 240-260 cm mounting height), the Alto (motorhome porch awning, 260-280 cm mounting height with 12 foam pads), and the Vita (freestanding driveaway, 330 x 270 cm). The Magnum Alba also gains a new compact 260 cm width.
How does Isabella's Smart Air System work in the Ventura Air awnings?
The Smart Air System connects all air tubes in a single continuous structure without additional welds or joints. You inflate the entire awning from one valve using the included 12V electric pump, and air pressure automatically equalises throughout. A rubber membrane on the inflation valve prevents air escaping when you remove the pump. Deflation uses two or three valves depending on the model size, all placed behind protective pockets. This design reduces leak points compared to multi-tube systems with separate connections.
What is the difference between the Isabella Ventura Air Lux and the Ventura Air Alto?
The Lux fits motorhomes with a mounting height of 240 to 260 cm, while the Alto fits 260 to 280 cm. Both come in 260, 330, and 400 cm widths with 250 cm depth and share the same Smart Air System, VenTex walls, and printed polyester roof. The Alto includes 12 foam pads for filling gaps against the motorhome body and levelling on uneven terrain, which the Lux does not. Measure your motorhome's awning rail height from the ground to determine which model fits your vehicle.
How much does the Isabella Ventura Air Aura weigh?
The Ventura Air Aura 260 weighs approximately 26 kg, the Aura 330 weighs approximately 28.4 kg, and the Aura 400 weighs approximately 31.3 kg. All three share a 250 cm depth and include a 12V pump, curtains, transport bag, draught skirt, wheel cover, connection pad, and pegs as standard. These weights make the Aura range manageable for two people to lift and carry.
What A-measurements does the Isabella Ventura Air Nova cover?
The Ventura Air Nova covers A-measurements from A950 to A1075, corresponding to caravan sizes G18 through G19 and above. It has a depth of 250 cm and suits caravans with a rail height of 240 to 260 cm. Use Isabella's online A-measurement search tool to match your caravan to the correct size, or measure manually by running a string from ground level on one side, through the awning rail, and down to ground level on the other side.
Is the Isabella Ventura Air Vita a driveaway awning?
Yes. The Ventura Air Vita is a freestanding driveaway awning measuring 330 cm wide and 270 cm deep. It stays standing when you disconnect and drive away. Connection to your vehicle requires a separately sold tunnel in one of three heights: Small (180-200 cm), Medium (240-260 cm), or Large (260-280 cm). The Large tunnel includes an additional air tube for stability. The Vita has three deflation valves and is extendable to 470 cm or 610 cm with one or two optional annexes.
What is VenTex fabric and which Isabella awnings use it?
VenTex is a fibre-dyed polyester material (300 g/m² on the Vita) used for the side walls of all 2026 Ventura Air awnings including the Aura, Alto, Lux, Nova, Vita, and Sol. Fibre dyeing applies colour to the yarn before weaving, giving better colour retention than surface-dyed fabrics. VenTex also helps regulate the indoor temperature by managing heat transfer through the awning walls. It creates a more comfortable living space compared to standard coated polyester.
What vehicles do the Isabella Air X-Tension tunnels fit?
The Urban Van tunnel fits vehicles with a pitched (sloping) rear roof such as the Renault Trafic, Ford Transit Custom, Nissan Primastar, Burstner Coppa, Ford Nugget, and Globevan Camp One. The Van High tunnel fits high-roof vans such as the Hymer Free S, Hymer Grand Canyon S, and similar motorhomes built on the Mercedes Sprinter chassis. The Van High tunnel measures 320 x 130 cm and weighs 3.9 kg.
What is the Isabella Magnum Alba and what is new for 2026?
The Magnum Alba is a traditional poled porch awning with a CarbonX fibreglass frame and IsaFix locking clamps. For 2026, Isabella has introduced a new 260 cm width alongside the existing 340 cm and 400 cm models. All sizes share a 250 cm depth and fit caravans with a rail height of 235 to 250 cm. Walls use Isacryl at 295 g/m² and the roof uses Isaroof at 285 g/m², both heavier and more durable than the Ventura Air range's polyester fabrics.
Should I choose the Ventura Air Aura or the Magnum Alba?
Choose the Aura if you prioritise fast setup (single-valve inflation vs manual pole assembly) and frequent moves between sites. Choose the Magnum Alba if you want heavier-duty Isacryl and Isaroof fabrics built to withstand extended outdoor exposure, or if you prefer a mechanical frame with zero air leak risk. The Aura fits a rail height of 240-260 cm while the Alba fits 235-250 cm, so your caravan's rail height will also influence the choice.

How do I clean and maintain an Isabella Ventura Air awning?
Vacuum or brush the awning off when it is dry, then wipe with a damp cloth. For deeper cleaning, use Isabella's IsaClean product. Apply Aquatex reproofing spray to windows no more than twice per year, spraying on and immediately wiping with a dry cloth. Always dry the awning completely before packing it away to prevent mould. Check air valve seals periodically and store the awning in its transport bag away from direct sunlight and sharp objects.
Are Isabella Ventura Air awnings suitable for seasonal pitching?
The Ventura Air range is designed for touring use rather than permanent installation. The printed polyester roof and VenTex sides are optimised for portability and quick setup rather than continuous seasonal exposure. For extended seasonal or year-round use, Isabella recommends their heavier-duty traditional awnings made with Isacryl fabrics (such as the Magnum Alba), or their Villa and Casa year-round awning systems which are built for permanent installation.
Does Isabella offer a warranty on Ventura Air awnings?
Ventura awnings come with a 2-year warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. Members of the free Isabella Club receive an additional year, bringing the total to 3 years. The warranty applies to all Ventura Air models including the Aura, Alto, Lux, Nova, Vita, and Sol. Isabella also provides an in-house repair service for warranty-covered issues. Club membership is available at no cost through the Isabella website.
