Camping and Caravanning Club reduces European site fees

Posted by Linda Davidson

Caravan taps owners who are planning to take a caravan holiday abroad next year will be delighted to hear that the Camping and Caravanning Club has announced plans to reduce its fees on all European sites.

The club's Carefree Worldwide Travel Service will be offering special "low season" price promotions such as a 14 day stay for the price of 12 and a week-long stay for the price of six days.

Richard Grimsdale, the club's travel services director, said: "During these difficult economic times, value for money is essential and we are delighted to offer our members the chance to visit some fantastic destinations at a reduced rate."

He added that the special offers will allow everyone the opportunity to go camping and caravanning abroad next year.

In Mr Grimsdale's opinion there is nothing better than a European caravan site, offering great facilities and sun-drenched pitches for the perfect holiday.

A recent Travel Trends Survey, from TripAdvisor, found that one in ten holidaymakers is planning to travel abroad more in 2011 than they did in 2010.
