Camping and Caravanning Club relaunches SiteSeeker

Posted by Freddy Morton

Brits who have invested in caravan taps and other mobile home accessories ahead of their summer touring trip may be pleased to hear of improvements to an online resource.

The Camping and Caravanning Club has improved its SiteSeeker camp search website.

It has been up and running for a couple of weeks and helps caravanners find a park that suits their needs.

Searches can be refined by selecting from 40 options - an increase of 28 on the previous version of SiteSeeker.

Camping and Caravanning Club ebusiness manager Tamsin Smyth said: "It has never been easier for members and non-members to select their perfect site."

"We have worked relentlessly to complete SiteSeeker and we are confident that this latest development will speed up the site selection process."

Her colleague Will Knot added that there are now 2,300 sites to choose from, which means the online resource's 175,000 unique visitors per month should be well catered for.

Meanwhile, Park Holidays UK has reported on figures which show the UK to be cheaper for a basket of food than many of its European rivals.
