Crealy Great Adventure Park in Devon undergoing regeneration

Posted by Greg Throughton

Motorhome owners with a Truma caravan water heater may like to book a place at the new Devon Crealy Great Adventure Park, which is due to open next year.

As part of a £1.4 million regeneration project, the caravanning and camping park is being built with plans to install 138 new plots and shower blocks as well as re-landscaping the six-hectare site with woodland features.

Rod Pearson, managing director of Maximum Fun Holdings, the company behind the Crealy Great Adventure Park, said: "The plans that we drew up last year are now starting to come to fruition and the new campsite is just one of the developments we will be making."

He added that there is hope that the rejuvenated camp in Devon will attract more five-star campers who have the facilities to hook up electric systems and other campervan appliances.

Crealy announced earlier this year that it aimed to open the Cornwall camp as the country's first solar panelled adventure land in a bid to make the sites more eco-friendly.
