Denbighshire country park to get leisure site makeover

Posted by Freddy Morton

A country park in Denbighshire is set to be converted into a site for motorhome owners and people with Reich caravan taps after plans to redevelop it into a leisure park were given the green light by council bosses.

The Parry-Jones family, who also own caravan and tourer manufacturer Fifth Wheel Company, are planning to introduce 36 pitches for touring caravans and 50 permanent lodges.

Adrian Parry-Jones told the Evening Post: "“We are excited about the development of the country park and have clear plans in place to make it a top holiday destination."

He added that the local community will also benefit through the access they will be given to the amenities, which are expected to include a clubhouse and lounge bar.

Denbighshire, in the borderlands of north Wales, offers a number of scenic attractions for tourists, including an official Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the Clwydian Range.
