Green Caravan Park opens its doors

Posted by Freddy Morton

Owners of caravan equipment and accessories planning a getaway in the next few weeks could make a trip to a brand new park in King's Lynn.

Work on the King's Lynn Caravan and Camping site in North Runcton has been recently completed, giving the existing site an eco-friendly facelift, Outandaboutlive.co.uk reported.

A new facilities block, which cost around £250,000 to construct, is now open to the public and boasts toilets, showers, disabled facilities, baby room and a laundry area.

Furthermore, the block also has great green credentials as the electricity and heat is provided by solar panels and solar tubes, while some of the water comes from a rain-harvesting system.

The family-run caravan site also offers ten acres of beautiful parkland, as well as large grass pitches, perfect for kicking a ball about this Easter.

Meanwhile, locals in Whiston are demanding that the council repair large potholes in the road to Halsnead Caravan Park.
