Skelwith Fold Caravan Park 'perfect destination for Brits'

Posted by Linda Davidson

Skelwith Fold Caravan Park is the perfect place for owners of Comet caravan taps to take a break at and is impressive from the first moment, it has been claimed.

Claire Tupholme, writing for Out and About Live, has highlighted the park's forest feel and 130 acres of woodland as some of its key assets.

Nature buffs looking to visit the site can enjoy its red deer, red squirrels and badgers and the area is packed with interesting wildlife, she claimed.

She added that the facilities include toilets, washrooms, laundry and a library, as well as a shop replete with essential supplies.

Ms Tupholme said: "As well as the labyrinth of paths leading from the park through the trees there are as many delightful walks down weaving country lanes, where the views across the countryside to the hills beyond can only be described as breath-taking."

Comet caravan taps owners were recently told that UK holidays are still becoming even more popular, with VisitEngland spokeswoman Sarah Long claiming that the number of people taking their summer break in the UK has risen since 2009.
