Caravanners may be attracted to Isle of Wight

Posted by Freddy Morton.

Caravan water heaters owners will be interested to know about an upcoming cycling festival on the beautiful Isle of Wight.

This year's Isle of Wight Cycling Festival takes place between 18th and 26th September, and kicks off with the Cycle the Medina fun race – and get ready because this inaugural race is billed as "sink or swim" – the Medina is a river!

Over 60 rides tailored for cyclists of all ages and abilities will be on offer, from toddlers to experienced riders. The festival is sponsored by ferry operator Wightlink, so special fares will also be available.

Enjoy fun events like Hills Killer – a themed orienteering cycle ride set against the clock and covering three, seven or 14 hills. There are also informative classes, like a cycling maintenance tutorial.

Other events include a woodland walk and a canoe trek.

Caravan water heaters owners heading to the festival will like to know a host of caravan parks are situated on the island, Waverley Park Holiday Centre to Rookley Country Park. Enjoy.

The Isle of Wight is the largest island of England.
