Caravanners should make a trip to Gloucester

Posted by Freddy Morton

Owners of Waeco caravan fridges should consider Gloucester when planning their next break.

This is the opinion of Marketing Gloucester, which told caravanners that the city is a thriving urban hub that has something to offer any visitor to the south west.

"It's one of those cities you can return to time and again and discover something new and interesting," spokesman for the organisation said.

Visitors to the city can expect a host of attractions.

"The city boasts a Victorian dockside that's the most inland port in Britain, plus a wealth of historic buildings, museums and attractions, shops, cafes, bars and restaurants and a thriving entertainment, events and festivals programme," he expanded.

Harry Potter fans planning a trip to Gloucester are advised by the city tourist board to take a trip the Cathedral, as the cloisters have been transformed into the corridors of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in various films.
