Dorset caravan sites are "unrivalled"

Posted by Greg Throughton

Caravan sites in Dorset are some of the most beautiful in the country, owners of camper van accessories and equipment were told.

Jessica Thornton, tourism marketing officer at West Dorset District Council, said to those considering an Easter break that the area is the perfect destination for all seasons.

Visitors can enjoy the region's natural unspoilt beauty, which is dotted with quaint villages and thriving market towns.

"Our caravan sites situated on the World Heritage Jurassic Coast provide the visitor with breathtaking views, sweeping cliff top walks and spectacular fossil strewn beaches and those who choose to camp further inland will enjoy some of England's best countryside full of river valleys and rolling hills," she enthused.

Once safely settled in, owners of camper van accessories and equipment have a huge choice of stately homes, historic castles and local attractions to explore.
