Exmoor Food Festival offers family fun

Posted by Greg Throughton

Owners of items and accessories for your campervan should visit Exmoor Food Festival for an array of events and a day of family fun, the organisers have claimed.

Rachel Kelly, one of those behind the event, said that attendees can enjoy cooking courses, wine tasting and foraging.

She noted that some of this year's cookery courses taking place in the heart of Exmoor are "fabulous".

Furthermore, the Streamcombe Cookery School and Farthings Farm Shop will be hosting "a two hour cookery demo exploring some interesting ways to cook and serve furred and feathered game and incorporating other wild and local produce along the way".

Ms Kelly added that those who are partial to a bit of chocolate can learn how to include the delicacy in both sweet and savoury courses while at an informal supper with Nutcombe Chocolates.

The annual festival runs from October 1st to 9th across most of Exmoor and provides a showcase for local produce from independent food and drink producers.
