Lifestyle Living Group to invest in static caravans

Posted by Greg Throughton

Luxury holiday park company Lifestyle Leisure Group has announced plans to invest £1.5 million into the range of static caravans offered to its customers.

The Peterborough-based company is hoping to add 150 new static caravans to its parks in the Yorkshire Dales, Carlton Meres in Suffolk, Haveringland Hall in Norfolk and Silecroft, Cumbria.

Lifestyle Living is investing the money into static caravans to meet the increased demand the company is experiencing from UK holidaymakers who are looking to stay in the UK this year.

Peter Andreou, Lifestyle Living Group chief executive officer, said: "The recent financial climate has led people to rediscover their own country during the holidays, which has led demand to outstrip supply in terms of quality holiday accommodation."

He added that the investment is a great start to 2011, following on from a successful 2010, during which it acquired seven new holiday and residential parks.

The new static caravans will arrive at the parks across the country next month.
