X-Factor's singing sensation Cher Lloyd might be familiar with Whale caravan taps and Morco caravan water heaters, as she used to live in a caravan before her meteoric rise to pop-stardom fame.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror, the singer's uncle Jessy Smith said: "Cher must be one in a million. You never see a traveller doing well on TV, let alone become a pop star."
"From the age of two all she wanted to do was sing. Now she's just the same as any other teenager," he added.
Cher lived on the road in a caravan with her parents Diane and Darren from the age of just four months.
Former landscape gardener Mr Smith added: "Diane and Darren bought an old Buccaneer six-berth caravan with plastic windows and a battered Ford Transit Mark II pick-up for £200."
It seems that caravan sites are starting to be recognised as top-quality holiday destinations, with Welsh heritage minister Alun Ffred Jones recently praising a number of parks in the country.
