Caravanners urged to get on their bikes in Wales

Posted by Freddy Morton

Valiant caravan water heaters owners that are planning a trip to Wales may wish to take their bikes in order to take part in a National Trust challenge.

The challenge, which takes place on May 1st, will start from the National Trust Estate in Pembrokeshire and will offer three different routes depending on a cyclist's ability.

Caravan water heaters owners looking for an active holiday can complete an 80 mile route and those wishing to take it a little easier can take part in the 52 mile route or the third route which is 23 miles long.

Philip Broadbent-Yale, outdoors programme manager at the National Trust, said: "These rides offer a fantastic way to see amazing countryside and have been specifically designed to cater for all ages and abilities, from first-time riders to seasoned pros, there's something for everyone."

Further cycling challenges have been planned throughout the year with events taking place in the Peak District, Devon and the Lake District.
