Culture lovers 'spoilt for choice' in London

Caravan taps owners who are planning to travel to London to experience some culture over the coming months will be "spoilt for choice", according to VisitLondon.


Sally Chatterjee, chief executive officer at Visit London, noted some of the events coming to the capital, including Afghanistan: Crossroads of the Ancient World at the British Museum, Watercolour at the Tate Britain and London Street Photography at the Museum of London.


She added that the capital is constantly evolving and will offer a wide range of events, exhibitions and sporting events in the future.


For those looking to sample some of the world's finest cuisine London is well worth a visit, offering 53 Michelin starred restaurants.


Mayor of London Boris Johnson recently claimed that London is a fabulous destination for gourmands as it offers some "lip-smacking gastronomy we can all be immensely proud of".


VisitBritain recently revealed the main reasons that foreign tourists come to the UK as shopping, sightseeing and eating.
