Holidaymakers advised to visit outskirts of Paris

Posted by Freddy Morton

Holidaymakers with home-from-home accessories and apparatus considering getting a ferry to the continent have been advised that Paris continues to be an unbeatable family destination offering a variety of activities.

Sarah Woods, travel presenter on the Alan Titchmarsh show, author and travel writer, pointed out that Paris has a special place in the hearts of many holidaymakers and has been memorialised by countless films and images.

"It has retained its appeal with a broad base of people because it used to have a romantic tag but … it has had to broaden its tourist appeal to families," Ms Woods explained.

People planning to visit the French capital with their caravan in tow can pick from a number of sites, with Escape Holidays citing La Parc de la Colline as a suitable location for those wishing to stay close to the city.

It offers a number of transport options for getting to Paris and Disneyland, and various on-site facilities for children and adults.
