Plenty for families to do this bank holiday, expert states

Posted by Linda Davidson

Families and those who own a Truma caravan water heater may be looking for some activities for all to do over the coming bank holiday, as one expert states that there are many options on their doorstep.

According to a representative from the national tourist board VisitEngland, families can find many activities to do for little or no money.

Laura Smith, destination public relations manager at the travel information provider, said: "In addition to the wealth of free activities on offer, many paid-entry attractions are bolstering their offerings over the festive period to ensure maximum enjoyment from a visit."

She added that many country homes are offering learning workshops and tours at relatively low costs and that these types of trips can provide something for both adults and children.

England has first-class interactive museums for families, Ms Smith commented.

Ben Parkinson, online marketing executive for VisitDevon.co.uk, recently suggested that Devon has a host of indoor activities to keep people entertained during the colder seasons.
